Electronics And Communication Engineering has a major role in the transition to a technological society. It is a branch which deals with designing of electronic circuits and devices using electrical components. Today Electronics and Communication is already involved everywhere  in human life, may it be radio FM, televisions, computers, mobile phones, microwaves, security systems and even satellites. Every industry, organization & institution needs an Electronics Engineer.

Electronics engineers are expected to find new solutions to the practical problems affecting our daily lives that help in enhancing our lifestyle and productivity. They work with other specialists to design, fabricate, produce, test and supervise the manufacturing of electronic equipments, systems & components for a number of industries including hospitals, computer industry, military, automation, security and electronic data processing systems for communication etc. Electronics engineer’s work revolve around devices that use extremely small amounts of power.

The increasing pace of development in electronics systems has made Electronics & Communication Engineer, a ‘transforming agent’ in the society.

ECE Department at Quest Group of Institutions is committed to produce Electronics Engineers who are competent, skillful, practical and have a positive outlook. The department has experienced and dedicated faculty with strong commitment who work with zeal and enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment to the students. The teaching program contains a proper blend of basic concepts and advances in technology. The faculty uses advanced and smart teaching methods for better understanding of the concepts.
To keep pace with the current technological trends and to give holistic view of present scenario the department has formed departmental club ‘IMAGINEERS’ to incorporate all advancements in existing and emerging technologies. Various activities like Mock Interviews, power point presentations, Poster presentations, Guest lectures, Workshops etc. on the current technological trends &  advancements in existing and emerging technologies are held by the department, which gives the students a holistic view of the present & future scenario of the Electronics and Communication industry.

The state-of-the-art laboratories, such as VLSI lab, Digital Signal  Processing Lab, Microwave LAb, Instrumentation Lab ,Microcontroller Lab, Communication Lab provides the students with the necessary and sufficient backing of practical knowledge that they need. Regular expert lectures/workshops and industry visits are organized in the department , giving our students edge of being industry ready right from day one.

To nurture the inclination of the students towards research and development, PROJECT LAB has been established in the department. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in civil design, construction, and environmental studies. Graduates are prepared to perform particularly well in the application of existing technologies to most aspects of the civil engineering field.

The department is fully equipped with one of the best infrastructure & equipment in the region, which is backed by highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The department lays major emphasis on the practical work and field visits. Industry experts have been romped in as mentors to share their valuable experience with the students, so as to make them learn nuances of the trade quickly.

The department has started a r esearch wing, for giving a know how to students about research and development in the field of Civil Engineering. Students of the department show great interest in research work paper presentations.

Eligibility


For B.Tech. 1st Year 10+2 (PCM) from a recognized Board with minimum 45% marks.
For LEET (2nd Year) 3 Year Polytechnic Diploma in any stream from a recognized Board with 45% marks

The Electronics and Communication Engineering department at Quest Group of Institutions has state-of-the- art Laboratories fully equipped with modern equipment, so as to provide best learning environment research and practical exposure to the students. An Electronics Engineer has various opportunities open in various fields like defence, space, aeronautical industry, IT industry, health and equipments manufacturing industry, consumer electronics manufacturing organizations, mobile communication industry, automation process, audio & video communication industry, internet technology, power industry, petroleum industry, chemical industry, direct control & testing, production industry and so on.

Electronics engineers are also absorbed in Central Government, State Governments and in public enterprises like All India Radio, Indian Telephone Industries, MTNL, Civil Aviation Department; Post and Telegraph Department; National Physical Laboratory, Bharat Electronics Limited, BHEL, ISRO, NTPC, ONGC, BSNL, UPSC, DRDO, CSIR, railways, etc. Besides this they can also take up teaching & research based on their interest.
